BASIC
                                PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING
If you have decided that you have found "the right one" that you want to spend the rest
of your life with, then you need to go through this list of questions with your future spouse
and be sure some potential conflicts later in your life together are discussed openly. These
are just some, but some of the more obvious and yet most  overlooked things you will be
dealing with. Too often, assumptions are made by both people leading to misunderstandings
later. An example would be, "What do you mean you don't want any children?  You know I
wanted to have 2 boys and 2 girls!" It is better to discuss these things now.
Ok, here are the questions....

1) Why do you want to be married to each other?
2) How do you know that you really love each other?
3) How many children would you like to have and when?
4) How would you discipline your children?
5) Who will handle finances?
6) What expectations do you have for your physical relationship?
7) Where will you live?
8) Are there any health problems?
9)  Who will work?
10) Who will do the housework?

As I said these are only basic things we tend to forget about when we are in love but we all
have to deal with them eventually. I wish the best to both you and your future spouse. May God
bless you both and your future together.
